SEO and Yahoo

There are only a few major search engines and Yahoo! is one of them. Each one has their own algorithm for how sites are ranked in search engine results. Because of these differences, SEO’s will have to use various optimization techniques so that websites will rank higher on multiple search engines. For each of these search engines various details must be given attention. For Google it means that there will be strong keywords used in meta descriptions, tags and site title; and back links are important to Google ranking. For Yahoo! there are four main things that need to be addressed: keyword density, site structure, back links and aging.
